The jaw adjusts across a continuous range rather than fixed steps, so it covers metric and imperial fasteners inside that range without you swapping anything.
The exact span is [RANGE] — check that against the sizes you deal with most. Anything larger needs a bigger wrench, and that's true of any tool.
Will it round off my bolts?
Not if it's seated properly. Any adjustable wrench rounds fasteners when the jaw isn't fully home on the flats — that's the failure mode for the whole category, not this tool specifically.
Push the head fully on, make sure both flats are in contact, then pull. If the jaw feels loose on the fastener, it isn't seated.
On a seized or corroded bolt, penetrating fluid and patience beat force every time. Reaching for more leverage is how corners get stripped.
How much torque can it take?
Rated to [TORQUE]. That figure is on the instruction card and it's a limit, not a target.
Never slip a pipe over the handle. A cheater bar multiplies force far past the rating and is the main reason hand tools break. When one lets go under load, your hand goes where the handle was.
If you're working to a manufacturer's torque spec — wheel nuts, head bolts, anything safety-critical — use a calibrated torque wrench. This tool can't measure torque and isn't a substitute for one.
Can I use it with an impact driver?
No. This is a hand tool. Impact wrenches, drills and air tools deliver shock loads that hand tools aren't built to absorb, and the jaw will fail.
Impact work needs impact-rated sockets, which are made from different steel and are a different shape for exactly this reason.
Is it safe for electrical work?
Not on live equipment. This tool is not VDE-rated or insulated and gives no protection against electric shock.
Isolate the circuit, confirm it's dead with a tester, and then work. If you need to work live, you need properly certified insulated tools — and in most places, the qualification to go with them.
What's actually covered by "lifetime replacement"?
Covered: the jaw, the adjusting mechanism or the handle failing during normal hand use. Send a photo and we replace the tool.
Not covered:
Use with a cheater bar or pipe extension
Use with impact or power tools
Hammering on the tool
Exceeding the stated torque rating
Ordinary surface wear, scratches and finish marks
Commercial or industrial production use
This covers the tool, not loss or any consequence of a failure.
Why buy two or three?
Most people who buy one come back for a second. One lives in the garage, one stays in the truck, so the tool is wherever the problem is.
The multi-packs bring the price per tool down from $79 to $59, and every pack ships free with the same guarantee. If you only want one, that's fine — the single pack is still $30 off.
